The MMCE Camping Trip 2023 at Ol’ Macdonald’s Resort, just a short drive from Edmonton, was an unforgettable experience, full of laughter, bonding, and beautiful memories. Organized by our dear Ansarikka, this two- to three-day getaway along the sandy shores of the lake in the campgrounds was an absolute blast for all ages.
One of the highlights was the joy of riding around in the pedal carts, exploring the picturesque grounds, and visiting the farm animals that added an extra layer of charm to the experience. For some of the parents visiting from India, this was a special chance to experience our outdoor camping culture for the first time, and they embraced every moment.
As night fell, we gathered around the campfire, where the soothing strums of Rizvi’s guitar filled the air, and the group joined in with their voices, taking turns to sing and create beautiful memories together. The sense of togetherness, whether singing around the fire or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings, made this trip so special.
The little ones had a blast exploring, while the older ones relished the chance to relax and enjoy the serene outdoors. It was the perfect balance of fun, adventure, and connection for everyone.
